The change of Tu B’shevat reminds us that change happens in an ecosystem. Every tree, blade of grass and patch of earth has a role to play in the health of the system. So too with our families.
So in order to really celebrate Chanukah this year let’s ask ourselves, what makes us Jews distinct? How can we celebrate our distinctiveness in ways that strengthen our own identities and the Jewish identity of our families?
